An Old Adage
It is said that life is 10% of what happens to us, and 90% how we react to it.
I would argue that the 90% is broken into another 90-10 split: what happens to the people we care about and how they react to it. And again and again, ad infinitum.
Ergo, we are all interconnected, and hopefully for the better. However, in a setup such as this it is remarkably easy to hurt each other -- especially unintentionally.
