Quick?

I need to make with he posting. Then perhaps there will be the reading and homework.

Must see this. Dunno why, just must.

Classes
Intro to Modern Physics is nifty ([livejournal.com profile] zsparke and James assist this). Richmond is as nifty as I suspected. However, he is much the hardass I should have known he was from that dodgeball game. Also, I should make sure to not be late (As in 1-min before the period) to his class again.Science and Religion promises to be almost good. I fear though that the general RIT code of silence regarding anything that could possibly be controversial could stymie any fun attempted to be in the class. Only about three people in the class do not seem to agree with this policy. Me, [livejournal.com profile] b55b55 and maybe two other people disagree-halfwise. Circuits II I should have definitely taken before Electronics I, but whatever. AC, here I come! I haven't yet taken Honors Intro to Engineering. And Prob and Stat I is easy and has a [livejournal.com profile] faboo in it.

And now I go to work on things!

I've heard the first film they made of it is likely to be better.

Science and Religion

brittany disagrees with anything that requires her to be quiet.
I am in fact currently doing research to make me even louder, and more accurate.
Like researching ways to easily refute William Paley's laughable argument from design(also called the argument to design or the "Inteligent Design Theory"). Shouldn't be hard because it had already been refuted 50 years before he made it.
Here is the Gallup International thing that I cited to show that only 45% of the population believes in "God" as generally defined by a monotheistic religion (God as a person or entity)although 87% of people belong to a religious denomination(But only 32% practice regularly). It's really interesting for other reasons too (like the more educated you are the less likely you are to be religious, or that most people don't think there's one true religion.)
I even have note-cards. (I'm such a dork)
I will be trying my best not to be a complete and total pain in the ass but I don't know how much I can promise.

richmond is a hardass. he's nice about it though. attend class, do the reading ahead of time, and answer questions to the floor.

RIT's social policies (except the ones but drug abuse, so far as I can tell) are really fucked up. "don't flirt with people, raise your eyes, or joke with your friends. don't question our ability to have a happy academic relationship with organizations that kill people. only drink beer."

_and_ we're business, not a school. fuck.

Give Richmond a kiss for me

Tell Richmond that if he doesn't treat you well that I'll be forced to leave Maryland and pay him a visit that his wife wouldn't appreciate. Send him my llllllluuuuuvvvvv!

Keep Warm!
