Slack 10
So, now I have installed Slackware 10. There are some bits I still need to fix in the coming days, but I am using the latest version of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
deepestsender. I'm using Fluxbox, which is delightful. I even have a style designed for Slackware 10.
Feel the geek! But be gentle!
And music detection with XMMS is a damn sight easier than with Winamp.
For futher geek news: I decided against the 2.6 kernel due to lazitude.
And everything's so much better off the HDD rather than a CD. But I must thank the Knoppix folks, for giving me a software environment for a few weeks.
