Unfortunately, the reference to the NY Daily News at the top of the second page undermined the concerns the article started to plant in me. While they're not quite National Enquirer quality, they're probably the worst of the city-wide newspapers.
However, I do agree the country needs to treat our veterans better. I had a student who was injured in Iraq, and though the gov't would pay for his schooling, they wouldn't pay for his surgery.
