I've known you for a while. I've never thought of you as a wimp, or as someone who needs to "stop trying"; you may have occasions where you act that way, but that doesn't make it definitional. For example, I can be an arrogant, mean-spirited asshole sometimes; it's poor behavior to exhibit, but does that make me fundamentally an asshole?

Maybe. Maybe not.

I agree with the other; be kind to you as well - and one should never stop trying, even if it just means a change of direction.
