Education of the topic really does truly need to become a priority. I know in my 'hometown' it's become necessary because of the military presence in my town- children needed to understand and hear the truth about the current state of things... I would think that such education would be a big thing where you are all things considered...hmm...but really, so unfourtunate to hear.
But you know...I dont know the child's situation so this may be off base- it's not necessarily a presence of hate within the child. Kids do say the darndest things- often in imitation of those in respected or authoritative positions around them- especially when things are confusing and they, being so young, as unable to draw their own conclusions. Can a nine year old truly hate in the real down to the roots meaning of the word? perhaps not- I mean- not as far as I'm concerned. BUT they can perpetuate the sentiment of hatred, which is, perhaps, just as damaging and hurtful. And thats so sad.
