Listen to pain like that. Our knees, as I'm sure you know, take far more stress than they are built for, and that's magnified by martial arts training. A "ball bearing" feeling could be a number of things, but your symptoms sound like you have a Baker's Cyst.
I, however, am no doctor. If the sensation persists, you might consider seeing one; they'd likely do an MRI, feel your knee, and make sure that you don't have any cartilage or other material floating around. If it -is- a Baker's Cyst, which is a misnomer, and not really a cyst at all, it will probably clear up on its own, assuming you keep the knee rested. Not that you would, if you're like me. :)
