I've been trying to figure out a sim costume (basicslly a twirling, mood-color-changing plumb bob suspended over my head). You'd prolly be able to do it better than me, cuz you could hook up the electrics (I figure just use LED in a white paper thingy to chsnge the light color, not sure about the twirling). Besides, there's no subways to duck up at RIT (you're on your own with doors, but I fugure that there's less of those too).
As for your throat, there is chloraseptic that you can gargle. In feels funny because your throat will feel like nothing.
