if there's one thing I hate about modern English speakers, and there's a lot to hate about the perversity with which English speakers speak English, I've gotta say, and I mean this with complete and utter sincerity, after all, good rhetoric is about senserity, honesty, integrity, is lower case letters, which, incidentally, are the illegitimate hellspawn of punctuation and capital letters, and run-on sentences, and not because I've got some stuffed-shirt, Harvard mentality about my mother-tongue, the English language, but because lowercase letters and run-on sentences truly degrade the very fabric of the culture of our society, which, I need not remind anyone, was based on effective, poignant communication starting with John Hancock who was certainly not one for a circumlocutious speaking or messages of intent but for bold statements of right and individuality that define our culture and our language.
