I dreamed that a friend of mine who I've been seeing a lot more of recently came on to me while we were at some place that was a weird combination of Amagansett and Chelsea. We had some nice hot makeouts and were going to have sex but I woke up.



The question is, do I tell her? If so, how so? I've thought her attractive for a while now, but she's involved, and there are other complicating factors that tell me I should just let it pass for a decade or two when we can all laugh at it. And I'm really tempted to put a note in here saying who it is so I can look back to it, but I think it'll just be easier to make a private post link back to here instead.

I'd say keep it hidden, make a private post that references this post. Since I don't know this person, and I'm under the presumption they're on your LJ (or know someone who reads it) it seems that it'd be in your best interest to post it silently. If you truly have the inclination to approach the subject, bring it up with the individual directly, not posting it online. That way, at least you can laugh about it in person instead of wigging her out online. :-)

You could put in a commented out line w/ her name. As for whether you should tell her, let's start with one question: is she poly? If not, then probably not.

I do not know if she's poly, frankly, probably not. I know she has a boyfriend and has for a while now.

Actually, I think I found (a while ago, during a quiz meme) that comments are stripped by LJ, and even if they weren't, it wouldn't be secret, at all.

Oh duh, I forgot comment lines appear in the source. Not that people would know to look for it (at least not before now), but whatever.

If you did want to follow up w/ her, you could either start off by telling her about poly, or by telling her you're attracted to her. *shrug* Good luck whatever you decide.
