What landlord? Calling the "repair department" goes to fast busy. Calling the super goes to voice mail, as it always does. Knocking on the pseudo-super's apartment got me a "be there in 5 minutes" and got another person "I can't do anything", and got the fire department "he's not here". I'm planning on going to the management company in the morning. But we have to prepare for the party. And we have no heat now.
I spent a lot of time in that lawyers advice office when I was in NYC I can tell you they are friendly people who are pretty helpfull Im going to go with what rosefox says and tell you to call them or someone who can help you
At least your landlord hasn't tried to kill you. The one for my building turned off the gas without informing anyone, so we all could have been blown sky high.
