"Like a graveyard...

I'd take death over rape; it has nothing to do with misogyny or homophobia. Faced with some circumstances, I think, one makes a decision about where the line of acquiescence is drawn. For me, intentional violence against my person crosses it, and I would do whatever was in my power to prevent its occurrence.

Granted, I wouldn't consider -suicide- an option.
