So, work.
Lightning closed things early, but I still got paid. Its all good.

Regarding the Pledge of Allegiance debate:
"Under God" is a blatant state endorsement of monotheism. My (and your) First Amendment rights protect us from such.
The original Pledge of Allegiance (written by a minister!) read:
I Pledge Allegiance
To the Flag
of the United States of America
And to the Republic
For which It stands
One Nation
Indivisible
With Liberty and Justice
For All
It was changed in 1954 to prove to the Knights of Columbus (and other religious and quasi-religous groups) that the United States of America was not a Godless Communisim. I know I loved McCarthyism, didn't you?
Lets keep it as it was written before.

And in other news, [livejournal.com profile] faboo has pointed out a very disturbing concept in computing today. Hit up his journal and click the link for one of the more recent posts... Fucking SCARY

that is all,

oh, and it's not a concept. intel started lubing us up for with the p3. it wasn't well recieved, but microsoft is in on it now. hailstorm (think, hotmail) will help, the doosy is media player. media _has_ digital `rights' management (I got news for them - you ain't got many rights, and making copies of old stones songs isn't one of them). if you rip a cd with it you can't take that wma file to another computer. ms is also unvailing pavillion, which I'm sure will be woven into .net. intel has specs for a chip that will essentially kill your ability to download random crap from the internet to view media, as well as keep you from developing media viewer programs yourself.
sometimes I think I should perform more intellectual theft as a form of civil disobedience.
