Work.
Not too bad. Very empty in the morning, passed the time on the beach talking to cabana staff.
In the afternoon, I helped move some beach cabanas. Yes, not in the job description, but, like everything else that isn't in the job description (like cleaning out the backwash drain), strangely fun.
Then the pool flipped out and needed another guard, so I went.
And I also talked to Roxie about how Sammy and Amber believe that its optional to listen to others who aren't chief (when the chief's off, and when the chief places me and Chris C. in charge). And I suggested making the thing official. She said Sal suggested writing up a list of official proceedures when she's not here. I said a interim head would be more flexible and useful. Unresolved.
