You're still using Gnome?

For keyboard shortcuts and the like, go to the control center (click on the toolbox icon on the bottom bar)->Sawfish window mananger->Shortcuts. From there, you can select which shortcut you want to modify or add a new one. When you assign new keys, you can just click "Grab" then it will ask you to hit the keys that you wish to be assigned w/ that function.

As for your internet buttons, first see if they even are read by running xev. This will bring up a new window. Make sure that your focus is that window and press a few keys. You will see that in the terminal you started xev from there are lines of text detailing what you've done. It will give you the keycode and what character that key is associated w/. Now check your internet buttons. Does anything new appear in the terminal? If so, you should be able to map them to whatever you want. What you do next is dependant on what you want to map those keys to. If those keys don't do anything, then check to make sure you have the right keyboard installed for what you're using. If that still doesn't work, then perhaps Steve can help.
