So, I may, where may is possibly, be getting better. I've been coughing a lot, but I've been feeling a bit more awake. I'm still having trouble focusing (mentally), but thats probably mostly due to discomfort. I seem to be going all feverish less often, and I've had fewer chills.

[livejournal.com profile] asilvahalo told me she'd have to break up with me if I co-op-ed with a military contractor. I think I might have to break up with me if I did that.
Speaking of which, she's out right now, and I'm debating going to sleep and letting her wake me up when she gets back home. Yes. That does sound good. Especially given the huge amount of sleep I've gotten today and the past week, I should be just fine to get interrupted a little bit.

Anyways, goodnight.

government /military contractors arent horrible people. nor are they necessary republican or pro war or anything of the sort. many of them are simply normal people working to improve things in their country and community; not to promote war but to suggest and preserve peace. the possibility to 'do good' greatly outweighs the possibilities to 'do bad' in most cases, particularly at the lower level of co-op/intern.

not to mention that the government really does take care of its employees as far as pay, vacation, sick leave, holiday, mobility and etc. and- uhm, quite practically- they're hiring in a time when most people arent.

grrr...

Go work for a defense contractor.
And remember I am your father, so you hve to listen to me.
Especially if it's lockheed martin!
I love them, plus they have skunk workz!

Was watching the SG-1 Season premiere.
The only way to know the true extent of current technology is to be working for a defense contractor doing cutting edge work. For example, the X303 - a interplanetary sublight speed space ship. =)
Or even SG-1 itself. Think about it. It could exist.
And the only way to know is to make the weapons and technology they need. =)
