I invited you because you are my friend, and because we were going to do something that sounded half interesting.
had the latter not been the case, or had it not occurred to me that you might not being something else for the holiday, yes I probably wouldn't have invited you. however, that's only because I was going to hang out with my family, and I don't usually figure on random people wanting to go chill with my folks.
don't get so bent out of shape. I didn't invite along because I think you're a loser, and I didn't invite you out of some kind of sympathy.
