thank you very much! i mention the bit about the pop-up blockers because a lot of my friends that were in my test group before i released it to the general public reported problems with "not being able to get the page to open." i finally figured out that it was from their pop-up blockers and they then hated me because they had to hold down ctrl to click on damn near anything. :P heh.
i try to mix the whole style thing with simplicity. i hate sites that are obsessively visual, and have no content. honestly, i don't think i'm that interesting, so i felt i needed to have some prettyful things to look at while you're stuck on my site - but i just don't see the point in overdoing it. though i -am- itching to do some flash stuff at some point. but...i'm still on dial-up. i have too much sympathy for us modem-laden users to do that to people. hehe..
though i do have a question: my mozilla using friends said that the background image wasn't sticking to the right side like i told it to, and i'm just not that great with xml or...whatever in god's name it was that i used to get it over there to fix whatever issues their browsers were having. so were the violets on the right side like they should have been for you?
