Since she's disabled comments... Re: This post. Rock on. You have every right to be enraged. Call your rage as you will.

And happy 21st Birthday to me (at 8:30pm tonight). Let the old man jokes commence.

"...see women as other people. People they may be sexually attracted to, people they may want to see in short skirts all the time. But people with brains who are to be listened to and feelings to respect."

I'm surprised she'd be worried much over a "bitchfest" - that's one of the most aware and enlightened attitudes on gender interaction I've ever encountered...

So how does it feel to be 21? Singing sea shanties while swigging grog from a comically oversized stiletto pump yet? Or have you had to settle for an old tennis shoe?

I feel the same as yesterday, although I know that I will not feel as bad when the friends want to go to a bar (seeing as now, I can join them, even if I only have some soda).

And if you go as DD, you might be able to get free soda.

Ah, but you see, the problem with that theory is I hear the state gives license to people they deem to be properly educated in the ways of operating horseless carriages. I do not have said license.

... Do you need a license to drive a horse-drawn carriage?

How exactly would you identify your age to the bouncer at a bar without a license, anyway?

A Non-driver ID, or a learners permit. I have one of the latter. (Currently expired, though, which I need to fix before my return to flying)

I didn't know you flew, that's cool. I've heard that there's a bikini car wash going on somewhere towards henrietta, but I still need to do some writing and get julia some lotion samples from parkleigh... Damnit! There just aren't enough hours in the day to fritter away on everything I want to...

Umm... as in I fly as a passenger. You cannot get through security checkpoints without valid state-issued ID.

I can't remember what I had to do in terms of identification when I was flying. What I do remember was that on my way back to America, in Switzerland, I set off the detector (it was probably my belt) and the attendent took me into a covered booth and basically felt me up. You'd think we were at a dance club or something.
