[livejournal.com profile] shoujo_mallet has a theory, developed through some studies of [livejournal.com profile] rit, that the longer someone stays in rochester the more jaded/alone/angry/drunk they become.

Check for yourself for posts back when the community actually started (be wary of those posts with incorrect dates!), and compare to the reign of \8=====D/ of today. Some posters who used to be intelligent and sociable in '01, when the community started, are now mean.

I thought it might have had something to do with the residue of bad net-citizenship instead.

And your thoughts?
