Hmm . . . If you look at the election 2004 result on that, more people that were closer to fascist and republican were the exception and voted for Kerry than the people that were closer to Socialist and Democrat that were the exception and voted for Bush.
The test said I was a Democrat, but almost straddling Centrist and very slightly closer to Libertarian. Sounds about right.
