Europeans do smoke like chimneys. But I like the fact that people are generally multilingual in other countries. In S.A., people spoke at least English and Afrikaans, and some of the black people there spoke English, their tribal language, and another bunch of them to boot. It sucks that in America, we're discouraged from knowing more than English.
