when i cancelled t-mobile a couple years ago, it was b/c i didnt have service in my apartment. they argued with me for an hour, trying to convince me that their computer said i should have service therefore i must, and that it wasn't too late to cancel my new plan. not being able to use the phone at home made for a pretty useless phone.
then i ended up cancelling cingular when i moved, and my contract expired, and they decided to keep switching back and forth whether they were cingular or at&t and charging me ridiculus roaming fees that my contract said would not be charged. i was sick of battling, so i went back to t-mobile. which works just fine where i live now. ill probably keep it if i continue to have service. of course this phone that likes to turn itself off is a pain.
