Not that anyone disputes it, but Sartre really knew what he was talking about; some people are assholes. Some people, in fact, are more assaholic than some others. My point is, if I have a point to make at all, that UNDERSTANDING yourself and the things you do IS important, but attempting to FIX your nature, if it isn't a malicious one, in order to stop people from acting like assholes is completely unecessary. There's always going to be people who find something you do annoying, regardless of what you do or don't do. And a nature that is responsible for somebody going around writing "Happy April Fools" on people's dorm whiteboards is, as far as I'm concerned, really innovative and friendly, CERTAINLY not deserving of somebody making snide comments behind your back. Isn't that what whiteboards in dorms are FOR???
Basically, I'm siding with this Anthony fellow (I think), and saying more verbosely than necessary: "SCREW THESE PEOPLE!" You'll find some nicer people when you've been there long enough :).
