So, how, exactly, do I appear to flirt with (apparently) every girl I talk to? Nearly everybody who checks this out has seen me in the company of at least one girl.

I need an answer to this. It keeps coming up (usually with negative consequences) in all my female relations.

Perhaps you have a different definition of flirting than other people have? The interactions you've described to me between yourself and your female friends in high school suggest you may not have developed the same boundaries other people have. You seem to classify much more under the category of "friendship" than many others do.

I wouldn't say that you flirt with just the _girls_ you talk to, but most guys probably don't care enough to notice.

Okay, so you're right. But I usually recognize such things (although not in this particular case), and it is understood that its all in good fun. See catmandux and his tickle-fetish thingie.

It has been said (by bunbunsbitch) that I tease the guys and get teased by the girls.

Still. It bothers me that this is a recurring issue in my interactions with others. I don't want to change anything until I learn what is the problem, and what I can do to fix it.

As yet, it seems that the harder I try to not flirt, I "flirt" more. This is obviously not the desired outcome.

Any tips?
