UN Resolution 1441 passed.
Unanimously.

Then Saddam says, "Oh, I had weapons of mass destruction, but they're gone now." He doesn't seem to be an honest partner in world affairs.
Bush is (reportedly) going to give him an ultimatum, leave, or get the crap bombed out of you. Sounds fair.
I hate war. But that man holding his office will only spawn more.
Take "that man" however you will.

It sure did. But why is this cause for comment? (Are you confusing it with the resolution calling for military action, which the US/UK/Spain withdrew yesterday, prior to its being voted on?)

UN Resolution 1441 passed in November of 2002. It was the resolution that put the inspectors in Iraq. It mandated that inspectors "shall have unrestricted rights of entry into and out of Iraq, the right to free, unrestricted, and immediate movement to and from inspection sites, and the right to inspect any sites and buildings, including immediate, unimpeded, unconditional, and unrestricted access to Presidential Sites equal to that at other sites." Ah, thanks for clearing that up.

I blame the real-time captioners at Fox News. If all Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing people get their news via real-time captions, I'm surprised there haven't been riots.
