Then Saddam says, "Oh, I had weapons of mass destruction, but they're gone now." He doesn't seem to be an honest partner in world affairs.
Bush is (reportedly) going to give him an ultimatum, leave, or get the crap bombed out of you. Sounds fair.
I hate war. But that man holding his office will only spawn more.
Take "that man" however you will.

Date: 2003-03-18 01:26 pm (UTC)UN Resolution 1441 passed in November of 2002. It was the resolution that put the inspectors in Iraq. It mandated that inspectors "shall have unrestricted rights of entry into and out of Iraq, the right to free, unrestricted, and immediate movement to and from inspection sites, and the right to inspect any sites and buildings, including immediate, unimpeded, unconditional, and unrestricted access to Presidential Sites equal to that at other sites."
