Very insightful, and I know exactly where you're coming from with trying "too hard at living rather than just letting it happen," for it has happened to me several times, and it hurts me to see it happen in people I care about..
The question, by the way, was mostly inspired by a conglomeration of attitudes I've been noticing in both my friends and in the tiny section of the 'Net I regularly patrol in terms of perfection. Its an interesting concept.
