Sometimes I wonder if I really feel concerned for other people, or if I just know that being inconsiderate of them can lead to negative repercussions for me. If everyone else is the latter, as I suspect, then it is correct to call inconsiderate people stupid, and perhaps even self-destructive

I just was checking out the HK forums that used to be used by you guys... directed me to an old reporter piece where the two of you argued a bit in the comments section

Good job Tom! I knew I recognized that name from somewhere, and was about to go digging through our old letters sections and a few forums to find him... So he's the kid who so eloquently espoused: "When i read the reporter i want to read about everything on campus, weather it be about how clean the bathrooms were, or how tastey java wally's is..." and not a satirical essay by the editor, since he obviously had no concept of it at the time. Probably still doesn't appreciate it much, which would explain a lot, as would his mega gung-ho sense of school spirit. Thanks again for the legwork, now I'm back to the fray - time to explain the semantic difference between "independent" and "underground"...
