I'm going to Williamsburg tonight to see the SJ Tucker play. The location & time is:

Raquy is apparently "Booty-shaking world music", but as I'm not much into booty shaking, and I have werk tomorrow, I'll likely leave right after her show. You, however, have every option to stay.

I'll be in the Penn Station area ca. 6p looking for Dinner &c. before the show.

sinboy and I are going with glib_dichotomy and majes. I know majes is meeting me here after 5 or so, and then we're heading to Brooklyn to see what the lines outside the club are like before we get dinner.

Is it the kind of place with big lines? I was assuming it'd be easier to get food in and around Penn. Actually, although a Brooklyn boy, I've never been to Williamsburg. Would I be better served waiting until I get there to look for fooding?

There's plenty of food options around, and lines can get pretty long for Raquy shows, so I think it's probably better to get there first and check out the scene.

Incidentally, Raquy is really worth staying for if you can. She's just amazing.
